Bacon Brussels Sprouts
INGREDIENTS:
- organic brussels sprouts
- grass-fed butter or ghee
- organic uncured bacon
- salt & pepper to taste
- grass-fed raw cheese (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees for bacon. Lay out strips of bacon onto baking sheet.
- Add bacon to the oven and bake 10-15 minutes (or until desired.) Flip the bacon half way through if it's a thicker cut.
- Slice ¾ pounds of brussels sprouts in halves.
- Sauté in skillet with 3 tablespoons of ghee or butter, until brussels sprouts become wilted but slightly crispy.
- Add cooked, chopped bacon at the last minute and stir.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper and cheese as desired.
